Frog + Octopus Froggy Friday Gets Freaky

What happens when you mix the charm of a frog with the mystery of an octopus? You get a Frogtopus, of course! As part of the Froggy Friday collaboration with Dragon Cave and other amazing artists, we decided to create a creature that’s equal parts adorable and a little… strange. And honestly, we’re obsessed.

Using eco resin and polymer clay, Kirk brought this amphibian-cephalopod hybrid to life, blending smooth resin details with hand-sculpted textures. Whether you’re a frog lover, an octopus fan, or just here for the weird and wonderful, this project is a must-see!

Closing Thoughts

This project was an absolute blast to create. Mixing frog and octopus elements into one cohesive (and slightly chaotic) creature was such a fun challenge, and we love how the final piece turned out! There’s something special about taking a wild idea and turning it into a tangible piece of art.
