This week in the Kirnix Craftiverse, we got sandy, sparkly, swirly, and just a little bit surreal. From gradient eco pots and undersea swooshes to magical frogs and an axolotl trapped (willingly!) in a resin globe, it’s been a week full of shimmer, experimentation, and questionable amphibian voices.
We explored a range of techniques—some new to us, others with a bit of a Kirnix twist—and had a good giggle along the way. If you love resin crafting, whimsy, and glitter in places it shouldn’t be, you’re in for a treat.

We got our hands (and most of the table) messy with AquaCast to create some cheerful plant pots! Inspired by @WendysDecorium, we gave the gradient effect a go alongside some bold solid colours. Perfect for plants… or deterring spiders. Possibly both.

Ocean vibes incoming! This swirling shell pour is packed with blues, mylar, and faux abalone sparkle. We took inspiration from Petra’s stunning shell art and gave it the full Kirnix treatment—aka: winged it with enthusiasm and made it work. Somehow.

It’s Froggy Friday again, and this time our little frog is channeling mermaid energy with colour-shifting swirls and hypnotic green eyes. Another Petra-inspired piece with our own swooshy style, this project brought a whole new meaning to “frog in resin”.
🩷 Video 107 – Axolotl Illusion: Crafting a Magical Resin Globe That Comes Alive!
Possibly our most magical piece yet—this resin globe features a suspended axolotl, a crystal-clear pour, and a glowing illusion effect that genuinely feels alive. We pulled out all the tricks for this one: UV resin details, deep pours, and a coordinating base to finish it off in style.
