🐉 Monday – We Made a Draxelotl… Yes, Really.
What happens when you mix glitter, UV resin, wings, and a sprinkle of crafting chaos? You accidentally create a Draxelotl—a sparkly dragon-axolotl hybrid that nobody asked for but everybody secretly loves. 🐲🦎
This project was pure Kirnix madness, featuring shimmering pigments, abalone scale details, and some very stubborn UV bonding resin. If you enjoy dragons, axolotls, resin casting, or just watching us bicker while gluing wings onto things… you’re in for a treat!
✨ Wednesday – This Crackle Resin Coaster is Pure MAGIC!
Midweek brought some serious sparkle with our Coasting Through the Week collab! 🎨
We took on the crackle resin effect, and honestly? It turned out absolutely stunning. Using a clever layering technique, we created a fractured, magical texture that’s somehow both bold and delicate. Perfect for resin beginners and pros alike, this was a project full of satisfying pours, handy resin tips, and of course—our usual chaotic commentary.
🐸 Friday – Blooming Chaos: Froggy Friday Bloom Attempt!
You know it’s Froggy Friday when things get a little… experimental. 🐸✨ This time, we tried to create a resin bloom inside a frog mould using alcohol inks, UV resin, and more glitter than was probably necessary (again).
Was it a complete success? Was it a colourful mess? Honestly… a bit of both—and that’s exactly how we like it! Come along for the laughs, learn a bit about bloom techniques in 3D shapes, and maybe be inspired to have a go at your own chaotic resin bloom project.
