We’re back! Tanned, recharged, and possibly still finding sand in strange places. After a bit of sunshine and a lot of inspiration, we jumped headfirst into some seriously wild makes—think metallic dragons, rogue magnets, and a dessert-themed frog. Here’s what went down this week on YouTube…
🔥 Project Highlights:
🐲 AquaCast Dragons + New Paints = Chaos
Fresh off holiday, we channelled our inner dragons. With AquaCast, metallic pigments, and just a smidge of chaos, we created a dramatic fantasy beast. Kirk’s eye twitched, Nikki added glitter, and somehow… it worked.
🧲 We Tried Magnetic Resin Art (It Didn’t Go to Plan!)
Spoiler: resin doesn’t always play nicely with magnets. But did that stop us? Absolutely not. We attempted steampunk tray sorcery with magnetic powders and science-adjacent nonsense. Results may vary!
🍓 We Made a Rhubarb & Custard Frog?!
Because why not? This colourful Froggy Friday featured a resin frog inspired by everyone’s favourite childhood sweet. Think: pink, yellow, and full-on fabulous. Also featuring: UV resin, Just Resin pastes, and laughter.

Even slightly soft resin can warp if left leaning or on uneven surfaces.
Cure and store on a level surface for best results.
